Passed the first of my Praxis II tests!!
Music Concepts and Processes and Music Analysis have been defeated! Yeah! I was actually kind of scared that I was going to have to re-take those, but I passed! I’m so excited! This is a great way to start off my vacation :)

And it’s My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic… I’m not sure how I feel about this! It’s so cute and clever though. And I’ve always loved “My Little Ponies”. I used to collect them. :)

Fun couple of days!
I went up to Missouri to visit my best friend! :) We spent some time riding, went to the movies, shopped and ate pizza and ice cream. It was a good time.
Now I have to get myself ready for the big Florida trip. We’re heading out on Monday!

My family is planning this big trip to Florida.

I ended up buying chemical fly spray.
Because I was totally out of my natural kind and I needed something for today.
Maybe it’s just because it was the first time I’ve used it and the flies weren’t immune yet, but my goodness it worked well! (Pyrahna, incase anyone is wondering)
We also had a super productive ride today which was nice, and afterward I hosed him off. And yay, my scaredy cat horse is not afraid of...

Lunging problems.
Navigator just pulls and runs. It pretty much only happens when I have him canter. He’s lovely at a trot in both directions. But ask him to canter and he just starts to run and sort of falls into it. :-/
I mean, sometimes he’ll pick up a nice canter and will relax and carry himself nicely, but if he breaks from it and I ask him again, it usually turns into...

I was planning to be all productive today...
But now I just feel lazy! :P
I guess I was a little bit productive so far. I went to my doctors appointment (all good - yay!), I deposited a bunch of checks (yay graduation!) and went and took care of the chickens. And it’s only 10:30. So that’s decent, right?
I think I’ll still go out and see Nav, but maybe just lunge him for 20 minutes or so. Work on transitions a little...

Things have just been good lately.
I applied for two jobs yesterday :D I also practiced my flute.
Things are going really well with Navigator and I should be able to ride again tomorrow morning.

Finding a job is hard!...
Especially since middle school/junior high band teacher is such a narrow subject. I might have to expand to any grade band.
But I really don’t want to add elementary music. I would be unhappy every day. :-/

So, where can I get some therapy to recover from...
Because I need it…badly. I have never felt so distraught from reading a book (and one meant for children/young adults at that!).
This is not right.
