30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 30 - What affect has Harry Potter made on your life and how much does it mean to you?
It has completely changed my life. It is by far my favorite book series. I am so thankful that my dad picked up a paperback copy of Sorcerer’s Stone and started reading it to my sister and me, just because he had heard that it was supposed to be a good book. It means a whole stinkin’ lot to me. It’s a part of my life.
Just think of all the things that would be different if Harry Potter hadn’t come along…
My life would be so different without Harry Potter. It’s almost weird to think about because it’s been such a big part of my life since I was in the 6th grade. I’m glad it happened though :)

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 29 - Did you enjoy A Very Potter Musical?
Of course! It was “Totally Awesome!” By far one of the most quotable musicals I’ve ever seen. I remember getting so excited when I first heard about it, because I had always thought a Harry Potter musical would be amazing. And it was.
Although, I do think it’s kinda unfortunate (in a way) that Darren Criss got so famous afterward, and it seems like no one knows that he started out in AVPM. He will always be Harry to me though. :)

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 28 - Do you listen to Wizard Wrock and what do you think about it?
Yes! But mostly only Harry and the Potters - they were my first and only, haha! I’m sure I’d like others if I put some time into actually looking and listening for them.
HatP have come to my public library 4 or 5 times now though, so they hold a special place in my heart :)

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 27 - Would you rather own The Invisibility Cloak, The Resurrection Stone or The Elder Wand?
The Invisibility Cloak. I wouldn’t want the Resurrection Stone because have any desire to bring back my loved ones from the dead and I believe that I will be reunited with them after I die, so I will get to see them again anyway, and I don’t want to be all powerful, so no Elder Wand for me either.
I like warm blankets and stuff, and that’s how I imagine the Cloak to be - like a really warm and soft blanket that also happens to let you be invisible. I could just curl up and take a nap and no one would know I was there. For some reason, that makes me happy. :)
And of course I could always use it to creep on people and play pranks, which might be fun… ;)

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 26 - If you could be able to work one spell without a wand what would it be?
Accio. I know, I would become so fat and lazy because I wouldn’t ever have to do anything. It would just be so convenient though!

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 25 - Nineteen years later. Are you happy how it turned out, or do you wish something was different?
I am happy with how it turned out. I won’t lie though, I thought the epilogue was too sappy or something… it almost felt rushed to me. I liked the closure though, and I did like reading about all the kids (although I thought all of Harry and Ginny’s kids’ names were a little bit silly…I mean, I know he wanted to name them after important people in their lives, but come on. James Sirius, Albus Severus and Lily Luna?
At least she didn’t do like Stephanie Meyer did in Twilight and make their names a mix of the two (Ha, then we would’ve had something like Jamrius, Alberus, and Lilna!)
Also, I still really wish the last word had been “scar”.
30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 24 - Any particular scene you wished would have been put in the movie but it wasn’t?
In OOTP when Harry and Cho go out on that perfectly awkward Valentine’s day date! That was by far one of my favorite scenes in the books. It really showed how awkward those first dates can be. And it was nice because Harry wasn’t being quite as angsty as he was throughout the rest of the book.
It was also funny because he was so oblivious on how to behave on a date. :)
Also, this is my favorite Harry and the Potters song, and it went perfectly with my answer.

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 23 - What part of the books/movies makes you cry?
This is kinda hard, because quite honestly I’ve never cried while watching the movies or reading the books (the only movie I regularly cry about while watching is The Lion King…I have no resistance to it).
However one scene that always gets me very close to tears and definitely gives me chills and makes me feel very emotional is the scene at the end of Goblet of Fire when Harry has just gotten back from the graveyard with Cedric’s body.
Everyone is cheering and ecstatic, and no one realizes what’s happened. You even see Amos hugging someone and celebrating the return of his son. And you as the viewer feel this terrible anxious tension because you know that he’s dead and that soon enough the atmosphere is going to completely turn upside down. And when it finally does happen, they realize that Cedric is dead, and the entire crowd is silent apart from the heart-wrenching cries of Amos, you just feel this terrible wave of sadness.
It doesn’t make me cry (tear up a bit, sometimes), but it is by far one of the most emotional scenes for me in the entire series.
Also, the scene right before the maze when Cedric and Amos hug and you can hear Cedric say “See you soon”. That’s just painful because you know it’s not going to happen. :(

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 22 - Harry Potter or Twilight?
Haha, I can’t believe this is even a question. Harry Potter all the way!! :D Although I will say, Twilight is great for making fun of while watching it. My sister and I probably have just as many jokes about Twilight as we do about HP.
Also, it was really hard to pick a picture to go with this one, but this does sum up my main problem with Twilight ;)

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 21 - Out of all the characters that died, if you could bring one back, who would it be?
I would bring back Lupin. (big surprise there…) I just thought his death was kinda unnecessary. At the very least JKR could’ve given us some kind of detail on his death, rather than just mentioning that he was lying there dead. :(
Also, I couldn’t find any good pictures of him, so that’s a picture of a field of lupin flowers instead :D

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 20 - If you had to meet one member of the cast, who would it be?
Alfie Enoch!! He seems pretty cool and laid back. Also, he’s super tall. And he’s got an afro. Why would I not want to meet him? :D

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 19 - Do you prefer the books or films?
For me, it’s Books all the way. As much as I love the movies, I had the books first, and even now when I read them, I have the same mental images of the characters as I did before I ever watched the movies. Which is really cool, because I feel more connected to the characters since it’s sort of like a little piece of my imagination is in the story :)
It’s also unfortunate though, because my mental image of Ron is basically the same as Randall from the cartoon “Recess”… O.o

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 18 - Least Favorite Book
Chamber of Secrets, I suppose… I don’t really know why. It’s not that I don’t like it really, it’s just that I like the others more. :)

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 17 - Are you excited for Deathly Hallows or concerned it won’t do the book justice? (question was paraphrased)
I am not really concerned. I know by now that they always do a good job of getting the basic points in, and they also do a good job of leaving out things that I think are important… I try not to compare anymore.
And I am very excited for it. :)

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge Day 16 - Favorite Professor
I think I’ve already talked about this, but it’s Lupin <3
