Nav was very fresh, and really stepping out. :) We worked in the arena for a bit, but then I decided a trail would be more relaxing, so we took a trail to head back to his pasture.
He was so good. I was able to trot him on a light contact and he didn’t rush or try to take off. It was so perfect.
Then I let him canter and he got all excited and did rush, but since we were out in an open space, it was kind of understandable. He stopped fairly quickly once I asked him (though he did pull a bit). But, when I asked him to trot again he picked it up nicely and didn’t rush. :)
He’s such a good boy. I really am gonna miss him.
Hopefully I can come back on weekends and ride him still.
Soooo good! It’s like it’s the perfect book. I feel like I take away something different every time I read it :)
I love it, and I recommend it to anyone and everyone. It does start out a little slow, but don’t give up on it! It is truly the best book I’ve ever read.
